Boulder County Offers Discounts On Electric Bikes
If you’ve ever thought about getting healthier and helping the environment by riding a bike to work, school, or even just to the store, Benefits Boulder County has a program that you’ll be interested in!
Through July 31st, Boulder County has partnered with select vendors to offer at least 10 percent off of electric bikes in their stores. E-bikes are essentially bicycles that have a pedal assist electric motor that helps the rider to further faster. This makes it easier to go up hills, carry groceries, and arrive to your destination without breaking a sweat. They’re ideal for commuting and running errands. The discount program includes cargo, road, fat tire, and townie e-bikes.
The program Benefits Boulder County is led by Boulder County’s Sustainability Office in partnership with Boulder County municipalities to leverage the purchasing power of resident. In the past, it has facilitated discounts on sustainable technology such as residential solar systems and electric vehicles for Boulder County residents and commuters.
